Cabling systems
Cable Structure
Cable structure basically is complex of cables lines, laid indoors, or outside, to transfer data between buildings and all sort of equipment. Cable structure is installed in all of modern buildings. Everything like telephony, Internet, CCTV, access control systems works using this cable lines. All cable system can be divided to three categories: Structured Cable System (SCS), Fiber Optic Lines (FOL), and wireless computers and telephony network segment.
Structured Cable System (SCS)
SCS is basically environment of data transfer via copper cables of different thickness. The data is transferred by electric signals. It allows to combine huge amount of different types of services like telephony, local local networks into one system.
Optical Fiber Networks
In case of use fiber optic lines, data is transferred via cable made from quartz glass, optic signal is controlled by electronic devices. FOL (fiber optic lines) installation significantly increases bandwidth of the network (10Gbit/sec and even more) and protects data from strong magnetic fields.
Wireless Networks
Wireless network utilizes radio to transfer information. Today the mostly wide spread standards of wireless systems are: Wi-Fi, WiMAX, DECT. In most cases Wireless systems are used to expand the cable network and for solving some specific tasks (like production control, or Internet access).
